Who We Are
We're a small, family-run garage door company. We've spent 27 years on garage doors — springs, cables, openers, new doors, commercial doors and gates — and we chose to focus on the Town of Smithtown so we can know the area well and get to people quickly.
When you call (631) 881-8120, one of us picks up. Not an answering service, not a lead network that sells your number to three companies. The person on the phone knows garage doors, asks what yours is doing, and often helps you check the simple things before anyone drives out.
How We Work
- Prices posted. Our starting prices are on the website, because you should know roughly what a repair costs before you call.
- Price in writing first. The technician tells you what's wrong and writes down the price before any work.
- Parts on the truck. Most parts ride with us, so most jobs are done on the first visit.
- Honest advice. If a repair isn't worth it, we say so. If it is, we don't push a new door.
- Warranty in writing. 3 years on repairs, 5 years on springs, 3 years on openers we supply plus the manufacturer's, 5–10 years on new doors.

Why We Post Our Prices
Look around and you'll see that most garage door companies won't put a number on their website. The usual reason given is that every door is different. That's true — it's why our prices say "from" — but it doesn't stop anyone from showing where a job starts. Posting prices keeps us honest, saves you a phone call to find out if we're in your budget, and makes the written price at your door no surprise.
Why Only One Town
Working in one town means short drives between jobs, which is a big part of how we can often come the same day. It also means we know the houses: which neighborhoods have hi-ranches with garages under the bedrooms, which streets near the water rust hardware fast, which villages have their own building departments.
What We Won't Do
- We won't sell you a new door when a repair will do.
- We won't add charges after giving you the written price.
- We won't sell your phone number to anyone.
- We won't install a new opener on a door with broken or weak springs.
- We won't leave without testing the door's balance, auto-reverse and sensors.
